Haironthemove was founded by Ivy Tan after she identified the need from several groups of people who either were too busy to go to a hair salon or wanted the convenience of having their hair done at home. These people include busy professionals, mums with children, wedding parties, etc.

Ivy has been working in the hairdressing industry for over 18 years. She spent many years in Singapore and Malaysia where she run a hair salon. Since her arrival in the UK Ivy worked for Toni & Guy as Style Director before deciding to go freelance.

Ivy specialises in wedding hair up and styling. Apart from her main work Ivy regularly participates in hair fashion shows with other top UK hairdressers. Amongst her busy schedule Ivy also finds time to lend her expertise to charity work.
